Your Word Is Your Wand*

Your speech has a powerful effect upon your life, in fact creating your reality/life. Thus it is wise to affirm that which is good, speak well of your future and positively about what you wish to happen in your life and the world. It is also wise for us to speak well of others and use our words to build people up. We should not tear them down.

Positive Speech is an important tool in personal development. Just as the way we think affects the way we speak, the way we speak affects the way we think In fact much has been written in the field of cognitive psychology about "self talk" and how this affects our self esteem and our interactions with others. Being mindful of our speech can have a wonderful effect on all our relationships and most importantly upon ourselves.

An affirmation can be any statement, act, or symbolic gesture that affirms the best reality that you intend to create. Through the process of affirmation we "act as if" our highest aspirations were already a reality, thus affirming it as our reality and manifesting it in our lives.

Here are several affirmations to practice daily:)

Affirmations for Good Health
I am whole and healthy. Every cell in my body is filled with vitality and radiant health. I release all sickness and imbalance and am now filled with the deep healing energy of Great Spirit. The energy that is always moving tirelessly throughout the universe also moves through me, I know this to be true and I give thanks that this divine healing energy rebuilds and restores me to perfect health right now.

Affirmations for Divine Guidance
I am divinely guided in all that I do. Great Spirit flows through me now and always. My highest self guides me in all my actions with wisdom and compassion for myself and others. I am balanced in thought, emotions, and actions as I move through my life. I am alert, attentive and receptive to my higher nature's wisdom and guidance.

Affirmations for Relationships
My relationships with others are harmonious - As I accept my unity with all Life, I salute the divine presence within everyone. I release past experiences and judgements, forgive myself and others, appreciate myself as a loving vessel of spiritual kindness and accept nurturing caring relationships as my Divine Right.

Affirmations for Happiness
I give thanks for deep inner joy, deep delight, happiness pervading my being. My joy is manifested throughout my being in increased health and well being. Happiness and joy are my constant companions in my heart and soul, mind and body now and always.

Affirmations for Success
I am in a partnership with the Divine, therefore inspired ideas lead me to productive action. My willingness to serve others moves me into unlimited achievement in my career and/or business. I gratefully know, feel and accept my success, giving thanks for it with the knowledge that it is already accomplished in the field of first cause/the mind of Great Spirit.
